From the end of the 1980, Dr. med. Zarmina Penner held various positions in the health sector, both in Germany and internationally.

After her doctorate, she qualified as a medical computer scientist and worked in the hospital software industry. She then completed an MBA in England (Ashridge Management College) before working overseas in business development and management in international corporations. She subsequently worked as the manager of a Competence Center for Healthcare Consultancy and later as a self-employed management consultant. Most recently, she graduated in Graz with an MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) in Integrated Healthcare Science.
